Tasty and quick food!
The chicken was awesome. Not too salty and not too sweet. Wish they would cut it into smaller pieces for easier eating/sharing though!
The beef bulgogi tasted better than it looked!
The broccoli could've used some seasoning and seemed a little raw/undercooked.
The kimchi was excellent! If it's not handmade I seriously want to know what brand it is!
Would love to come back! -

This is more like Korean fusion fast food than authentic Korean cuisine.
Ok I get their mission: serve Korean food on the go fast to the general public for reasonable prices however....
Traditional Korean food are meant to be slow cooked. That's what brings out the flavors. That's what makes Korean food exceptionally delicious!
There was at least one item from here that tasted halfway decent: the Beef Short Ribs (Kal Bi). The rest tasted terrible. The Jap Chae (Glass Noodles) was so dry and bland. The kimchi tasted flat and tasted like it's been sitting out in the air for way too long. The pot stickers had no flavor and was very oily.
If you would like to try an authentic traditional Korean restaurant I encourage you to try Seoul Garden (in Japantown) or Ohgane in Oakland or any other non fusion Korean eateries. If Sorabol (pronounced Suh Ra Bul) was your 1st time trying Korean food then you're missing out. Really. -

One star for poor customer service and misleading pricing from the manager (lady in white polo)!
I had ordered a two-item combo and requested broccoli only instead of the standard rice and noodles and broccoli. Then I realized that the broccoli-only request was an upcharge after paying and getting my receipt. The manager, dressed in a white polo, simply shrugged after I asked about the upcharge, and did not apologize.
This complaint isn't about the money, it's about misleading customers on pricing, not notifying them of upcharges in advance, and not apologizing for their lack of pricing disclosure. -

Decided to try Sorabol Korean Restaurant because of the many positive Yelp reviews. Pictures of their meals looked very appetizing. Ordered the crispy chicken meal and found the chicken to be not crispy, soggy-coating, over-cooked dry chicken. Not very flavorful! Also had ordered the lemon chicken meal. Chicken was super over-cooked. Chicken was very dry & hard. Visually everything looked appetizing, but over-cooked, dry meats, and bland. Do not recommend this place!

If you're desperate for Korean, you could come here. Otherwise, not a great spot, mainly due to service. They rush, make mistakes, and don't care and don't own them - they blame you for mistakes for your order.
Case in point: I ordered the Korean ramen noodle soup and they asked if I wanted an egg. I'm currently pregnant so I asked how the egg is cooked. At first she didn't really answer the question (she was distracted because she was retaking someone else's order... at the same time???) so I asked her again if it's fully cooked and she said yeah yeah. Fast forward to receiving my order: there's a raw egg that's been cracked over the top of my soup. I told them I can't have raw egg because I'm pregnant, and the lady who was giving me my order went back and asked the lady who took my order, came back and said she asked me if I wanted egg. And I said yes, but I asked her if it's fully cooked. This went back and forth for a while, with her repeatedly saying that she asked me. Yes she asked me and I asked her back if it's fully cooked. So it came down to redoing my order, and this lady says I have to wait 10 minutes because there are other orders. Uh, you made a mistake on my order, so you should be redoing my order right now. She repeats again that there are other orders. So I ask to be refunded when finally the cook says she's working on it and it doesn't take long. Thank you to the cook for jumping in, but the people behind the counter were pretty terrible handling my order and the issue.
Long story short, like I said, if you're desperate for Korean, this is fine.
